Common Questions About Our Spa

We are delighted you have chosen to enjoy a treatment at our spa. Please read through some of the most common questions below, and feel free to contact us at 505.848.1977  if you have any other questions not answered here.

What are your hours?

The Spa Isleta is open from 9am - 7pm Monday through Saturday and 9am - 5pm on Sunday.

Do I need to make an appointment at the spa?

We recommend that you schedule spa services prior to arrival in order to reserve a treatment time most convenient to you. Reservations are subject to availability and must be reserved with a credit card. To speak with one of our spa coordinators, please call 505.848.1977. Spa rates are subject to change; please call to confirm our current rates. Please mention your request for a male or female practitioner at the time that you schedule your appointment.

Should I arrive early for my spa appointment?

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your service to ensure that we start on time. Late arrival will, unfortunately, preclude receiving the full time for your treatment.

In addition, arriving early to use the facilities such as the steam, sauna, and Jar Spa will warm muscles and increase the effectiveness of massage treatments.

What if I need to cancel my spa appointment?

Please call 24 hours in advance if you need to change or cancel your appointment. Appointments missed without the 24-hour cancellation notice will result in a 100% charge for reserved services.

Can I book a spa appointment for my child?

Spa appointments are available for people age 16 years and older. Salon appointments are available for younger clients, ages 6-15 years. Persons under the age of 16 are not allowed in the Spa changing rooms, saunas, steam rooms or Jar Spa.

What should I bring to my spa appointment?

To enjoy the amenities of the spa wing, you are invited to bring your bathing suit to relax in locker rooms. Complimentary use of our spa robes, slippers and lockers is provided for all spa treatment guests. Please do not bring jewelry or other valuables to the spa. In-room safes are available in your hotel room. Unfortunately, we are not able to take responsibility for valuables that are lost or left at the spa

What should I wear during a spa treatment?

Our staff is trained in proper draping designed to ensure modesty and comfort throughout the service. However, if you are more comfortable, you may wear undergarments for your treatment. Disposable undergarments are also available upon request.

I am pregnant. Can I still book an appointment?

We always recommend that you consult your physician if you have questions regarding spa use and treatment considerations. Please avoid treatments using heat, warm stones, deep pressure and aromatherapy. Also, avoid the steam room and whirlpool. Some treatments are not recommended in the first trimester. Please inform us when scheduling your appointment so we may assist you in selecting the appropriate treatment.

Are the products you use available for purchase?

Our products change with current trends and are available for purchase. Please visit The Spa Boutique to view our complete line of products.

Are food and drinks available?

Yes. We offer complimentary snacks and drinks and we have a special menu available through room service. Please ask The Spa receptionist or take one of our rack cards to see a complete list of what you can order.

We regret that bringing personal food or drink into the spa is not permitted.

Can I bring my cell phone?

To preserve our tranquil environment and guest privacy, please note that use of pagers, cell phones and other electronics are restricted in the spa.

I have a medical condition. Can I still book a treatment?

We always recommend that you consult with your physician if you have questions or concerns regarding Spa use and treatment considerations. Please inform us of any medical or special needs such as high blood pressure, allergies, pregnancy, or any other special circumstances that may require our attention. Our staff is committed to your safety and wellbing, and reserves the right to decline treatment if there is a concern.

Is your staff licensed?

All of our massage therapists, aestheticians, cosmetologists, and nail technicians are well-qualified professionals, licensed in New Mexico.

How can I purchase a spa gift card?

Whether for an anniversary, birthday, or holiday gift, a gift card from The Spa at Isleta is a wonderful way to say “congratulations,” “thank you,” or “thinking of you.” Gift cards may be purchased in Enchantment Gifts in the hotel lobby.
